Review of da Dog Sitter DVDs

A lil while back I did do a review of da Cat Sitter DVDs and even showed a video of how much fun dey are to watch. well dat review did spark a few questions frum ma doggy pals about dem Dog Sitter Videos wot I had never seed since I iz a kitteh.

Well human2 & I did fink we needed to know wot we were taking about so herz did get me copies to watch fur all ma pup pals!

Well right of da bat let me tells you....frum a kitteh's point of view da first DVD iz paws down da best one. Well at least it wuz da one dat me and ma sisfur Abby did watch most. We were a lil skeered cause da video starts out wif cowbot monkeys on da backs of border collies while dem border collies were herdin sheeps (sawry none of dem wuz Shaun da Sheep). But den it turned to da great out-of-doors and showed crows & squirrels in da great outdoors.

I thoughted da crow wuz purrty cool, but I also thought all da "prey" on da moovie wuz purrty darned nice. Da dog ridin monkey cowboys are funny, but not too interestin fur us kittehs.

Der wuz duckies every where on ma TV. So Dog Sitter Volume 1 is a mix of anipal & sum doggies doin stuffs, wot should be loads of fun fur doggies to watch.

Here you can see how i am beary interested in dat squirrel and so iz Abby. You will be able to hear da crow & da crickets & doggies barkin in da video at da end of dis post.

I got a lil bored wif da Dog Sitter Volume 2 So I did acide to takes a much needed bath. I wuz rollin in da dirt yesterday so it about time to clean! *lick lick lick*

Dog Sitter Volume 2 iz all doggies doin agility fings & while ma humanz did watch it I gotted bored. I finks iffen I were a dog I would hab liked it more. Lots of barks & different dogs to see. I fink it should hab had some squeaky toy sounds for added attraction for sum dogs like ma pal Busy Buttons.

Cat Sitter DVD Reviews & Advice fur da Humanz

Da utter day I posted a video of me watch Cat TV. I wuz watchin ma very own DVDs made just fur kitties called Cat Sitter videos. Der are three different volumes of kitteh fun. My favorite iz Cat Sitter Volume 1 cause it haz all sorts of critters, buggies, and birds.

Cat Sitter Volume 2 iz fur da birds....literally, it iz ALL birdies (see da bottom pikshure).

Cat Sitter Volume 3 haz a lot of fishies in it! Gotta lub dem fishy wishies! I do recommends gettin the trilogy in da box set. It iz like da classic Star Wars trilogy but fur kitties!!!

Den der iz Video Catnip DVD wot haz lots of outside critters like squirrels, chipmunks and birds. Wif critter sounds n sum musiks. Dis one iz pawsum too. ALL da kitty videos loop so dey will play over and over again for ur cats. Purrty sweet.

Dis wot happens when ur kitteh gets too eggsited over watchin da videos & haz to go in fur closer inspekshuns.

Video Catnip haz sum of da best outdoor shots of squirrels & birds in it. Like dis here shot (but dis happens to be from Cat Sitter Volume 1).

I really likes watchin da birdies on Cat Sitter Volume 2.  Cat Sitter Volume 3 iz all fishies but it iz beary gud too!

Dis iz me watching Cat Sitter Volume 2. Like I said it iz fur da birds. It iz ALL birdies. Humanz can put on subtitles & see wot kinds of birides we kittehs are so interested in. Purtty cool huh?


Now fur dat advice fur da humanz in da house wot control da TV & DVD players...

1. Make sure you don't hab anyfing breakable on or around your TV cause we will get up close to see where dem critters iz and try to get dem.
2. If u hab a flat screen TV like dis make sure it bolted to da wall or stand. Otherwise u will hab to stay in da room wif ur kitty while dey watch der TV. Don't want u comin home to a broken flat screen TV on da floor!
3. Do not use ur surround sound (even tho da DVDs do hab surround sound) cause it will confuse us kitties az to where we should be lookin for da critters (I kept twistin ma head backwards finkin dey were behinds me.)
4. If u play dis on ur pooter don't be surprised if ur keyboard gets pounced on and da screen swatted at!
5. Hab fun wif ur kitties dey gonna lub da videos.
6. Start ur kitty's DVD collekshun today!

Watchin Cat TV

One of ma favoritest fings to do iz watch ma videos. Dat's right I hab ma own video collection! It iz filled wif da Cat Sitter videos and Video Catnip DVD.

Dem videos are beary fun to watch cause dey are filled wif fun fings like birdies, fishies, buggies, squirrels and mousies. All dem fings I would lub to get ma paws on.

Wanna Watch My DVDs

It iz ma turn ta picks wot moovies ta watch. (Altho dem humanz said no to ma Cat Sitter DVDs.....Pffffft to dem humanz.)

Hai we acided to watch dis one rite up here, kai? U makin popcorns in dat kitchen? We need popcorns for moovie nite!

Wot!?! Nao u sez we iz watchin Avatar on Blu-ray....so why u tells me to look at wot DVD to watch huh?

Lookin Out Da Winder

We had a beary loverly day here today. Akshully feeled like springtimes. Warm & sunny. I spent most of da day lookin out ma winder fur birdies & squirrels.

I even shared ma view wif Edgar. He okai I guess....

Top 10 Ways To Stop Da Cabin Fever Crazies

I lubs to sneaks outside & watch ma birdies or nom sum grasses, but wif all dis horrible snows we been habbin outsides is no funs. Being stuck inside haz caused me to haz a touch of da crazies (I iz runnin round like crazy man & chasing ma old lady sisfur cats through the house).

Here r ma top ten ways to halp stop da crazies when u iz cooped up inside too.

1. Watch sum TV. Yes kitties watch TV! We especially likes Animal Planet or videos like Catnip DVD or Cat Sitter DVDs. Dem videos are pawsum!

2. When TV not an option make sure your kitty can see out a window. I know dis time of year cold comes through windows, but a kitty likes to see wot iz goin on outsides.

3. Take a few minutes to play catch or fetch wif ur kitteh. Best fing for dis iz a crumpled up peace of paper. Paper balls can relieve da crazies dats for sure! If ur cat iz like me a crumpled dollar bill is most fun.

4. Get out a wand toy and wind up ur cat a bit. Wear him out enough fo naptime to come early.

5. You don't haz time to play? Dey get some kin of automated kitty toy to entertain your cat for you. I recommends da Tail Spin, Undercover Mouse and/or da Fling-ama-string. Dey iz all gud!

6. Squeaky mice. Da Play-n-Squeak mouse iz a kittehs best friend. U swat it & it squeaks at u. U sneak up & pounce & it squeaks at U. U fling it in da air & guess wot? It squeaks at u!

7. Treat toys. Dis iz a little like kitteh torture but in a gud way. Make us werk for r nom noms! But don't u forgets to gets sum nom noms.

8. Get da red Dot!!! Laser toys makes a whole different kind of crazy. Da gud kind of crazy.

9. Scratchers. Hab dem every where. Dat way kittehs will takes der aggressions out on da scratchers instead of ur furnitures.

10. So iffen dems still not werks u could always get yourself an outdoor cat enclosure & fling us outside! (psssst! dey werks inside too.)

I hopes des fings halp u out dis winter when u gets da cabin fever crazies.

Squirrels on Ma Doors

Az u can see dis iz why ma humanz haz ta replacin da mini blinds all da time at our house. But it not ma faults when der iz sumfing out der teazin me! N dunt u worries, I iz an expert mini blind ripper upper so der iz no chance of me hurtin ma self in dem.

I hads ta try n gets a betterer look at wot wuz out der on ma door makin all dat noises.

Human1 wuz home frum werks n opened da blind up to see wot i wuz affer. It wuz a baby squirrel wot wuz hangin on da screen door! He wuz teasin me from way up der at da top of da door -- see da yellow arrow pointin at he squirrel tail?

Den comes da real excitements when he started comin down da door towards me!

I reached up ta tries n get he but he wuz too far up der! I a tall boy but not dat tall no ways.

But den he did come way down close ta me afore runnin off into da street den ups a tree on da utter sides. I fink he wuz sayin nah nah nah az he did runs frum me!

One of Ma Favorite Places da Bathroom Window

One of ma favoritest places ta be iz da bafroom winder. I luvs hanging out and watching birdies, squirrels and even peeples as dey go by under me. If da humanz iz using da litterbox I pounce on dem to gets up der. Dey no minds (much) and sumtimes I hangs out on da huamnz afore getting in da winder! Dey call dat bafroom luvins (dat cause I not get up on der laps any utter time).


Dis iz me up in ma window watchin az human2 heads off ta werk. (I fink herz would rather stay home and hangs out in da winder wif me). But iffen I wants toys and nom noms I haz ta let herz go off ta werk. (just in case u no can see me dat iz me in da littlest winder on second floor)


Hai I see u seeing me! Where u going? R u coming back in? Should I come running to da back door or stay put? Okai I sees u when u gets home!

I'm Big Jungle Cat

I bets you no can sees me. I r hiding in da jungle waiting for bidies, squirrels or utter wildlifes to come my way. When dey do I will spring into action. Pounce I got you now!

Okai, so ma biggest catch so far haz been a cricket bug. Nom nom nom!

Dis is one of ma favorite hidey spots in ma garden. I loves getting to go outside! And today iz be-oooty-ful day. Nice suns, blue skies, floofy white clouds, cool breezy. It a gud day to be in day garden dat fur sure.

Birdie Watching Wif Boris

I am outside and I hearz all these birdies, but I cannot find dem. I look to da left then to the right but no birdies in sight.

Nuffin up there. Where are you, you birdies?

I don't see you over there either guess I will go look some place else.

Now I know why I did not sees you before! You iz way up there on roof of da house next door!

So how iz a kitteh supposed to get all the way up there to get you?

Bad Squirrel iz Back

The squirrel was back this morning. I had to run from window to window keeping an eye on him. He even came up on the porch to taunt me some more. I would love to gets my paws on that thieving rodent with the bushy, busy tail.


My tail was whipping back and further so hard it would slap the window with a loud thud.

How dare he come up on my porch and bother me! I goona get you, you squirrel.


I had to bouncy between windows every time he went around the side of the house.


I see you standing all tall like a statue of a squirrel, but I know you is a real squirrels.


There you are. Hey all humans come quick. Look at this. That Squirrel is back.

Boris the Garden Kitty

I was protecting my garden this morning. The humans do not allow me outside very often but sometimes when they are outside working in the garden I am allowed outside too.

I do a fine job protecting the flowers from squirrels and birdies!

Squirrel Watching With Boris

Boris' favorite spot is the front window looking out and watching the world go by. His human servants placed a birdfeeder in his line of sight just for him to make that little slice of of the world more interesting for him.

Today he was fascinated by the squirrel hanging out on the feeder. And boy did he want to get him.

As you can see by the images he is intently watching that darned squirrel. Below is a video of the big ole squirrel hunter in action.

Boris' bird feeder is the Heritage Wild Bird Feeder from Petzone (now OurPets). Every good kitty needs a hobby like bird watching.
