Here are two adorable kitties wot were just at da One by One adoption day on caturday & dey wuz no adopted (makes dis kitteh beary sads).

Dis duo iz a bonded Mother/Daughter pair so it would be PAWSUM to gets dem adopted togetter. Der names are Drizzle and PreciousKat dey iz bootiful brown torbies.

 You gonna seed more of des girls cause we gonna be der foster fambly startin tomorrow! But we doz hope dey finds a foverer n ever home real soons.

Since March 15th iz Help Petfinder Adopt the Internet Day that iz exactly wot we're gonna do. Pet adoption iz beary important and needs to be da number one place people fink of when dey acide dey wants to add to der fambly. When you adopt u are saving a life and sometimes da life u save returns dat favor (over and over agin....just ask Human2).

So please get da word out about Help Petfinder Adopt the Internet Day on March 15th and maybe even consider adoptin a bootiful kitteh like Beverly from Peninsula Friends of Animals, Sequim, Washington.

Human2 did stop by da Humane Society of Berks County tonight to play wif da kittehs. Herz did meets qwite a few handsum devils. We will start by introducing you to an orange tabby named Tucker. Tucker iz a real loverboy who would make sum1 a very nice pet indeed. Himz did purr da entire time Human2 did visit wif him (turn up ur volume and watch da video). Friday when Human2 did drop off donashuns at da Humane Society of Berks County in Reading, PA, herz wented in and played wif several kitties. Among dem wuz Lamar, a beary sweet boy. We wuz gonna using dis post to halp he get a forever home, but we don't have to da HSBC website sez ADOPTED (dis wot der site sez: ADOPTED!!! 32354 Lamar) !!! YAY fur u Lamar. So we just gonna show him off.

Human2 tooked sum fings down to humane society of berks county tonite & wented in to look at da kitties waiting fur forever homes. One kitty, Molly, did paw at da glass to sez hello. First one paw den both paws. So human2 took da bait & gotted herz out to play. Soon az dey wuz in da adoption room (where people can visit privately wif kitties dey finkin of adoptin) Molly plopped down & rolled ovah fur belly rubs! Herz really enjoyed dem belly rubs & butt scritches.

Human2 had tooked sum fun foam balls in & herz and Molly did play soccer for qwite awhile. Molly really seemed to likes dem balls (but like a good kitty would not play wif it when da camera was out -- MOL).

Furry Fridays at Berks Humane Society

Last Friday ma humanz wented down to da Humane Society for der Furry Friday artist opening. While dey were der dey played wif a sweet lil tuxedo kitteh wot wuz so cute and sweet. Herz  even gibbed ma humanz kisses. We finks herz really wanted to comes home wif ma humanz.

Here be sum wunnerful pikshures of herz playin & playin & just being cutes. We needs to check but I bets herz alreddy been adopted. But der iz loads of precious kittehs at da Humane Society who wants forever & ever homes.

Az Dey Sez DUNT SHOP ADOPT: A Blog Hop for For Food

Ma humanz haz rescued all us kitties in sum form or utter although now us us were officially adopted via shelter or rescue. Livin in Pennsylvania in da middle of all da Amish puppy mills haz really opened our eyes about adoptions and the need to stop dem bad puppy (& kitty) breeders.

Through halpin rescue us kitties Human2 haz gotted involved wif da local Humane Society & Rescue League. We hab no more room but we would bring dem all home iffen we could. So we doz our best to promote adoptions thru rescues & shelters when ever we can!

We halp by donating much needed items as well as just plain fun fings fur kittehs & doggies. We takes treats and toys over and spend time wif da animals. Dat iz called socializing dem. When dey r good wif people dey can more easily be adopted.


So even iffen u can no adopt during da Iams Home 4 the Holidays adoption drive dis year u can still make a difference by volunteering at a shelter, attending events (& sharing ur experiences to halp raise awareness) or even sponsor an animal in a shelter.

Part of der Adoption Drive iz also a food drive to donate bowls of foods to shelters.

Only two weeks into Iams Home 4 the Holidays and dey haz had 51,235 Adoptions and donated 7,297 meals.

I haz teamed up wif dem nice peoples at Iams to increase dem meal donations wif da halp of ma pals on Twitter.

For da next week (7 days) every tweet & retweet wot haz da hashtag #BorisIH4TH dey will donate 10 bowls. Dat's right 10 meals fur hungry anipals!

So let's start spreading da werd about Iams Home 4 the Holidays and usin dat hashtag #BorisIH4TH.

Every Animal Wants a Home 4 the Holidays

We did gets to hear Mr. Mike Arms speak at BlogPaws West in September, and boy will dat guy make your eyes leaky.

He told us about da Helen Woodward Animal Center and all da good things it doz for da animals and people in dat community.

He also shared horror stories about open-door (aka kill) shelters (dat why da eyes get leaky). He iz da founder of the adoption drive Iams Home 4 the Holidays.

They do sum pawsum work to get every animal a forever and ever home!

Dis year da goal for da Iams Home 4 the Holidays is 1.5 Million Pet Adoptions & 5 Million Meals Donated*

Even iffen you cannot adopt an animal you can do your part simply by heading over to facebook and givin Iams a thumbs up. By liking them on facebook a meal will be donated to a shelter. Then spread the word and have all your friends do the same. Let's get dem 5 millions to dem pets!
